Studio

The Editist is an editorial studio founded by Cristiane Corluhan.

The Editist

The Editist is an editorial studio working across language, narrative, and communication.

Founded in Istanbul in 2018, the studio collaborates with brands, institutions, founders, and cultural projects across publishing, finance, hospitality, education, luxury, and the arts.

Its work ranges from investor-facing materials and institutional communication to editorial writing, translation, publishing, and long-form narrative development.

Working across English, Portuguese, and Spanish, The Editist approaches language with close attention to tone, structure, rhythm, and cultural context — shaping communication with clarity, precision, and intention.

Cristiane Corluhan

Cristiane Corluhan is a writer and editor whose work spans publishing, finance, law, education, hospitality, luxury, and cultural editorial.

Over more than fifteen years, she has worked across international and multilingual contexts in New York and Istanbul, shaping everything from investor-facing narratives and legal communication to long-form editorial projects, translation, and brand language.

Her experience includes in-house editorial work within the legal and financial sectors, multilingual publishing management, and communication strategy for brands and editorial projects across hospitality, wellbeing, lifestyle, and culture.

As a third culture kid who has lived in six countries, Cristiane brings a deeply international perspective to her work and operates natively across English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

In 2018, she founded The Editist, an editorial studio focused on refined communication for brands, institutions, and cultural projects.

She holds a B.A. in English and Spanish, with a minor in Political Science, from Bryn Mawr College, where she graduated cum laude, and an M.A. in English Literature from Boğaziçi University.
